Nice progress shot Peter. What do you sculpt with that allows you to make changes days after the event??

Steve - i am back to using MagicSculpt. It can be smoothed when wet using a paintbrush and water. When it has cured it is had which can then be sanded, scraped back or even bits carved off.Comment

A combination of work and preparing for Euro put this project on hold and only yesterday remembered it is for the Group Build which ends in November!!!!
So quickly back to it this afternoon with a little refining of the face and some bulking out of the headdress. i am still sculpting the head as a seperate part incase I release it but I have my doubts about the likeness being good enough.
Tonight will be more work on the headdress, refining the way the folds drape.Attached FilesComment

Thanks for the compliments guys.
john - my wife kindly posed for me wearing the largest of her scarfs, I took a few photos which I use as the reference, nothing like using some 'real' reference material. And no, I am not posting any of those photos of her!

It still needs a little more work on the head-dress, especially the area above the eyes. The face needs a little more refinement, smooth a couple of places as well as finish off the tie. Hopefully over the next few days.Attached FilesComment
