Gern's Emhar 1/35 WWI British Artillery (Brad's WWI GB)

So anyway, not built anything for a while and I'll be starting the Revell 1/32 He219 soon (hopefully) so I thought I'd better get a bit of bench time.

I've been watching some of the builds for this GB and when I saw what Ian (papa695) had done and one of Ron's posts for this GB, and linked that with something that cropped up on here earlier this year, I came up with a cunning plan!

This is what I'm building (look familiar Ron?):

    And the sprue shots:

Ron was quite right, the cannon is really basic and the figures are pretty awful - but that makes them absolutely perfect for what I want!

Nearly forgot. I'll need a base:

A couple of hours work got me here:

No. I haven't varnished them - that's just the material they're made from (some sort of hard polythene).

I have made more progress, but I'm gonna leave you lot in suspenders 'til a bit later today and I'll post pics of the completed build.

You won't see much I'm afraid Paul, it's finished! I'm just waiting for the paint to dry before posting pics.

          Dave.
Well I shan't sit next to Paul if it's finished, he'll have eaten all the biscuits anyway. I shall stand instead by the door.
          John.
