After a bit more sanding and some basic cockpit work to liven things up, the Tornado is now ready to receive it's canopy:

That's looking loads better with a bit of filling and sanding Joe

Thanks Ian. We're nearly ready for primer! Found some ref pics of the model depicted.

Hope it turns out more like:

For the main part the Tornado is ready for primer, but as you can see, the nose cone and probe will need some work first:

Was hoping to have made more progress, but we're getting there.

Still going to need more surgery on the nose, but I've got the weapons and under-wing stores ready for painting in the meantime

This is one of three builds that had an accident yesterday. I had rested a heavy box on top of my spray box and it slipped off (not unconvinced a certain cat didn't have something to do with that), taking this, the Hasegawa Tornado and another kit I was working on, with it. After extensive repairs it's primed with its weapons and ready for paint.

That nose is going to require more work, I will replace the rubbish kit nose-mounted pitot tube with brass rod.

Thanks Steve. I think England may need a bit more than a goal keeper repair

Paint going on in next few days, nothing to report other than a bit of pre-shading has been done.

Still in the works, struggling to get model time but will try to complete before the end of 2018!
