Some more paint work done and unwrapped. The shading at the wing roots where they pass through the glove were carefully masked with post it notes cut to the outline of the shadow. I should have done this shaded area first then swept the wings for the wraparound camouflage. A bit of touch up was needed in the jet pipe fairings where I forgot to paint.
    Next step is varnishing.

Hi Rick, the Tornado looks nice so far. Sadly the thick application of paint has covered all the pre-shade. Pre-shade works with thinned layers of base paint. It's always much harder with camouflage masking.

            That is one large Tornado.

            Cheers,
            Richard

              Hi Rick
As Steve said all your patience and time spent with the masking has really paid off.

Revell have just released the Kit in a Gulr War version. After I'd bought the German one of course!.

I built the Revell 1:72 as a Gulf war aircraft. A 1:32 version would be rather nice.

It’s too big for my spray booth so I had to dig out my bigger home made one today (which I should have done ages ago) so that I can varnish the beast.

Spray booth - luxury. I sprayed my 1:32 He 111 whilst it hung from a bar, next to my spray booth !

Finally finished this in February but only just got round to photographing it. Didn’t really enjoy this.

                                Looks great Rick.

Does it suffer the same fit issues as the 1/48?
