          Steve.
Missed a bit, so just had a re-read. Those tracks look to be PITA, and I thought I was the only one.
Weathering , love it and thanks for the photos, helps me no end.
We used to go and play for weeks on end on the heath, our go to place for exercises.
We were stationed in Lippstadt, it took about 4 hrs to get there, unless you were driving the Scammell,
In which case it could be 5/6 !

I know what you mean about adding just one more tone whenever you look at it. When I used to restore cars my boss would accuse me of suffering from separation anxiety as I was always finding another thing to do. PaulE

I've just caught up with this ,Steve, and I am Gobsmacked!
I can't believe it's 1-72 scale, I'd be pleased with myself if I got that much into 1-35 build!
                              Top work indeed!

A short interlude tonite. With the help of Scotties research and Tammys plastic 0.5mm wire I was able to make the jump leads (Apologies again for the poor photos)

Firstly I cut a length to see how it fitted

As the cable was doubled up I decided to use this length and cut it in half. Otherwise another length of equal length would not have fitted

Using 0.1mm wire they were tied together as per the original photo

Then using Scotties photo I added the ends. Not the best but they will be hidden and I am only an apprentice bodger:smiling5::thumb2:

Once painted and dusted up they should look the part

And that is that for detailing. I promise. Honest. :tongue-out2::smiling2::thumb2:

                                Thanks for watching
