Here's my entry for this G.B. As per the rules the 'os, cart and driver will not be included.

Jim. Just to be sure. Is it o.k to include the paratrooper and child as one figure. Similarly the one with the woman? Or will I have to split them?

    Cheers.

I think Jim said up to 10 figures Ron, so you should be able to build them all.

Please tell me you'll do the 'oss an' cart on a dio later! You could do a great job copying the box art.

Hi Ron, a very nice set, and why not build the lot?

The problem is with this collection, I see the horses as not really figures so to speak, just the human element and the cart is certainly not, so I need clarification from our team leader what is admissible first time around. Then for sure I'll try and build the whole caboodle later as a separate diorama.

Building and painting the same sort of subject all the time would drive me bonkers, so I need to keep trying different aspects of model making.

I've made a start on the actual figures. I've been away from the bench today, but managed to smuggle out what I needed whilst 'Elsewhere'.......
Here's today's result and my first offering. Still some tidying up to do.
Lovely pose and sculpting from Master Box. I think so anyway.

The child is just loosely balanced.

              Hi Ron
Nice looking figures. The child seems to fit the soldier nicely.

Hey Ron, I'm doing 2 horses.... does that mean I'm disqualified?

Sorry Neil, I don't know. I just wanted clarification about my own build.

I like well worn haggard faces - Just as well! A couple of coats of watered down brown and a bit of flesh colour added to the last coat.

Nice figures Ron, don't think I've done any master box.

One finished duo. I'm happy enough with them. So there!..... :thumb2: :upside:
I stuck some strips of painted paper on for his gun, helmet and chin straps.
For a bit more effect I also filed off one of the young girl's shoes.
