Some of the smaller parts being prepared for adding once the main aircraft is painted.

Forgot to post recently, underside now done in RLM76 and masked up and RLM75 just sprayed on top surfaces. Next is to mask for RLM 74 for the camouflage, then the mottling.

Bit more work done. Top surface camouflage done, yellow rudder an bottom panel done and the black panels for the exhaust.
Next step is the scary one, doing the mottling freehand.

                  Dave,
Nice work on the paint. That is a great idea of using the lego as a stand.

Low air pressure, paint more diluted than usual, take your time and hardly any trigger pull-back. Just build it up slowly. No need to try and get the look straight away. Works for me :smiling3:

Some more progress. Mottling done, not heavy on this bird. Not 100% happy with it but with the decals on and some weathering I think it will look fine. Undercarriage added one wheel is a bit off and needs adjusting but the angle of the main leg is good, the kit has a positive location for these once you work it out. Inner wheel bay doors were a little mor fiddle to locate. Little bit of touching up to do then the gloss varnish.Click image for larger version

Nearly there now, all the decals added. They bedded down very nicely hardly any need for the Microsol. Even managed to get the long dotted lines for the upper wing surface on without getting them tangled. I will give it a coat of Humbrol Clear tomorrow, then a bit of weathering before a final satin coat.
