And Light Stone is much yellower than you'd expect. As for Silver Grey and Slate, let's just not go there!

You made a hot rod jeep. That's nice.

Well I resisted the urge to rod the jeep ! Its now in the process of having all the bits and bobs added on . The four figures have been painted and had a wash to highlight the detail. Once ive finished adding all the bits and given the jeep a wash to dust it up a bit then the two figures will be added . Click image for larger version

The Chevy is just about complete , only the guns and figures ( plus steering wheel ) to add . The two black primed parts in front are supposed to be fixed on the scuttle , I presume they are meant to be windscreens ? If so then I’ll replace them with some clear acetate , anyone care to clarify this ? Once it’s all together it’ll be getting a light dirt wash like the jeep to give it that dusty sandy look .Click image for larger version

Yes, those are meant to represent the windscreens, but they didn’t include a clear sprue for them. You can also leave them off completely, lots of photos of the real trucks show them like that.

They are windscreens, but they've got canvas covers over them to reduce glare. That's how I painted mine anyway!
