I will building the early version of this truck. Earlier ones had different Hoods, Radiators, Wood Wheels, Frames, Name Plate Badging and Engines also included with the early versions was an optional chain guard which this kit does not include also this kit does not include the upgraded engine or frame. This is what I have so far. The hood in this kit is very low quality and takes a lot of filling and adjustment to get it to look halfway decent The cab on the other hand fits perfectly well. Please be gentleClick image for larger version

      Welcome aboard Lee,

Those RPM kits are a little rough, but you can make a great model out of them. Sure is a lot of parts for a 1/72 scaler. Shame you don't get the wagon/trailer with it. Have fun Buddy!!!

      Prost

Thanks Allen I’ve thought a buying the Cannon that behind this one in the pic Ace has a nice one but it’s a lot of small parts for me to tackle anymore well I may try it.

          Hi Lee
Love these old WW1 trucks. I'm sure, as Alan says, a great model can be made from this kit. Some of the parts look very delicate.

Jim. Thanks for stopping by and the complement. They are very delicate and I’m taking my time I’ve build the tanker like this so I know where the dirty little secrets are in this kit

You've always done anything with wheels well Lee, so I can see no difference with this .

John. Thanks for the complement. I would offer some Yorkshire but looks like the wife can’t fine any around here. This has been a fun build so far I have some ideas for this when it’s done

More work done to the Bulldog this is a fun build don’t know why I didn’t enjoy the Mack AC Tanker I built last year guess I wasn’t in the mood. Anyway this is what I got done today

I added the steering linkage it had its moments but worked its self out Next added some more stuff to the cab including the fenders, firewall, grad handles, radiator top and sides. They make a etch set for this I just can’t find on at the moment. I will tweak the wheels when it dries more for straightness Click image for larger version

Looking sweet Lee, wouldn't be too hard to scratch up a trailer for this little beauty. There're plenty of 72nd scale spoke wheels out there and the rest is plain old Evergreen styrene. Might be good therapy to get you back in the groove. Rick H.

Rick. Thanks for stopping by and the complement probably going to stay box stock on this one but as I was building this the ideas was going crazy through my head for these old 1/72 Mack ACs what I can do with this truck it builds so much easier than 1/87 Jordan miniatures. I’ll probably get some more of these and build a trailer for one making a Civilian one
