Thanks Lee, having battled with the fiddly etch, we now have paint! Only a coat of primer & plenty more to do.

        Hi Graeme
Looks very good. The primer ties everything together. The tracks will drive you mad. Simon would have sat with a tray on his knees and cleaned them up infront of the TV and kept them in an empty margarine tub :tongue-out3: Looking forward the the painting.

Yes the difference a coat of primer can make, looks quite respectable now :thumb2:

That green plastic just wasnโ€™t doing it for me so seeing it in a different colour gets my thumbs up all day long :thumb2:

Tim, Jim, John, Andy, Si & Fernando, Thanks for the kind words & support. The green plastic is pretty awful, mind you the primer does look a bit like one of the British Leyland shades from the 70's! Sandglow anyone?
I've done a pre-shade & sprayed primer where it needed it, building it up in thin coats, will have to take a couple of photos before I do any more.

We have top coat on the panzer, Tamiya dark yellow, which looks about right for DAK sand brown. i had to use flash for the photo, which makes it look rather washed out.

Not much progress, just a bit of painting on the wheels & tools, hope to have some worthwhile progress to report soon!:rolling:

Time for another update, top coat of paint is done, wheels painted & attached, painting the tools is nearly done. The tracks are being painted, but still a lot to do,
