    Evening chaps

Its been a busy week and I actually found some hobby time, that is an odd occurrence for me!

Yes Rick, the VW is in for a real treat of multicoloured panelling and the effects of multiple demon attacks too.

Neil, Tim, sculpting is certainly a "black art" but its quite good fun at the moment, just making clothes

Dolls house stuff is certainly useful Peter, I have some fun things to use in the VW, when it gets onto the bench.

Thanks for popping by Jim and everyone, A little bit more.

I have been using white milliput which can be rolled so thin, its like paper, but by using baby talc to get it so thin, it also becomes a little difficult to stick to the parts of the body, the clothes are meant to fit.

So, it gets a little water, and lots of patient pushing and smoothing, and once its dry lots of 180/240 grit sanding too.

So, Karrin has a shoulder rig, gun and all the usual Police detective kit.

The blown up photos are quite critical, but I am reasonably happy with my first attempt at clothing.

The pewter is too thick for the belts and straps, so I used the thick foil seals from Millicano coffee tins.

And the work so far, be gentle LOL

The arms have sleeves but will need a good sand and foil cuffs.

The chest has been sanded as far as I dare!

She was a ""Pin Up"" figure and rather buxom for the character, I might try and sand some more off after priming, if it doesn't look too bad where the milliput shirt has been removed.

Hopefully some work on her hair soon, but I think it will need to be stickier, as I couldn't get the milliput to stick using up the pieces I had rolled out but covered in talc.

We shall see, but it is good fun and really interesting for a new part of the hobby.

    More soon?

    Thanks for popping by

    Regards

More great work Steve. A lovely smooth finish and fine foil work. I too have spent much time sanding down the 'attributes' of certain female figures - sculptors just can't seem to help themselves can they? Bit of a weird exercise.
