A general start today, made up the water jerry cans for the side of a hole adding the right top. Thin down the two side stowage boxes. Made up to spare wheels, drill centres out added stud holes / retaining bolts and backing plates.
Before and after.

Next up front try sprocket bogie units and idler wheels.
Pete.

Great build progress Pete, I can see why Simon couldn't start as he wouldn't know where to improve on a totally distorted kit to look toonish. :tears-of-joy: Still I'm sure he appreciated these little gems and envied your builds.

Cheers,
Richard

Cheers Richard I hope so, he always referred to them as Pete's bonkers builds but in a complementary way, it's so sad I'll never read that again:sad: .

Got all the running gear made up the front drive sprockets, twin wheeled bogie's and the rear twin wheeled idler.
Cleaned up all the hull filling.

Mockup only, as you can see not much room and very wide.

Started work on the new engine deck adding new covers, cut hole for grill made from white card. Added two resin cast armoured fuel cap (had made 20 for previous Toon Sherman so from stock box really)

Thank you for looking in, I don't think this was a good choice looking back now sorry.
