Sorry guys but went off on one got this far before I thought of posting ,anyway sprayed it green (4B0 bit of a enigma bit like panzer gray) brushed on a filter coat to settle it down a bit then lightly sprayed a few coats of the old floor polish on it ,picked out the bolts and hinges etc in a highlight colour ready to start doing what I do ,any way have started to muck about with the engine deck ,bit of a different discipline in this scale compared to to my usual 72nd stuff good fun though hope to bash on with it over the weekend .

Day in with the rain and wind lashing seemed a good plan to bash on though watching the GP delayed progress, taken a pic of the roof of the fighting compartment a before and after ,and pics of engine deck and roof ,I think its going OK all ive tried to do is upscale what I do in 72nd so comments and criticisms welcome. Dave.

        Dave,
The chipping is subtle and superbly done.

Terrific work with the wet stuff. Nice rust effects. Coming along really well

OK I've put the rest of the pic's up in Simons album ,if we've got till Feb the little armoured rail gun can skip a build ,it'll get done in winter camo as my nod to Simon, will probably do it Christmas week in keeping with the festive finish. Dave

Thanks John ,did I enjoy it ,yeh I suppose I wouldn't recomend the kit but enjoyed the paint job ,saying that that's a whole lot of green more on the engine deck probably than on a whole 72nd er ,so as a treat im leaving my take on Russian green ,I belive the early and pre war stuff was a nice bright green , saying that I don't care bit like Bob if the cap fits wear it ,any way next up Panzer gray or allied olive but odds are on me being weak and picking another Russian from the stash. Dave.
