After much trial and error, and a fair bit of putty usage, the carrier now has a man on the Bren.

Thank you all! In the interest of trying something new, I've given casting a go, using milliput. My first and second efforts at casting a Lee Enfield:

Far from perfect, and still some trimming to do, but I think they'll be fine as accessories for the back of the carrier, or the inside of a CLE cannister:

A nice accessory from the figure set. There's also a Welbike, which I'll try to put in the scene if there's room for it.

I've purchased some street accessories from MiniArt to spruce things up a bit. I might use the bollards and a drain and save the rest for another time.

If you want a few Lee-Enfield rifles for the model, I’m sure someone here can dig some up from a spares box and mail them to you

                Hi Greg
Looking great. Well done getting the figure in the carrier. Always hard to get a figure to sit naturally inside a vehicle. Casting worked well.

Thank you for the comments all, I hadn't been able to get much done on this recently, but have finished it today (minus the Welbike; turned out to be more hassle than it was worth!)

                    Pics can be seen here:

                    Many thanks,
                    Greg
