    Hunting Tiger for Simon T

    Sorry that I am late to the start of the memorial GB but finally finally finally ,,,,sigh,,,, received the kit updates that I am going to incorporate into my old Tamiya Hunting Tiger for Simon. And of course there will be some scratchery along the way. Going to have to do my best of starting this build while finishing up my other Tiger dio... hmmmm...looks like I have a bit of a Tiger theme going on here and didn’t even realize it.. ..maybe I’ll have to throw in a Tony the Tiger or Tiger Woods model kit too to keep this Tiger thing going..
    let the fun begin ...

                ....boy that old glue sure sticks well... wondering if there are any products on the market that thin the old adhesive when parts are joined together???:thinking: still some filling and sanding of items that were removed for replacement with either PE or with some scratchery materials. looks like up next is working on a new hatch on the top of that turret...the old kit one is just lacking alot of detail and is not really worthy of installing on this beauty of a tank

                  Happy thanksgiving Joe. The build is coming along really well. Will you be texturing the hull at all?

                          A few more updates I’m hunting tiger… Getting ready to start those track soon… I’ve never tried metal tracks so any tips and tricks from the Rabble is much appreciated,,,I know the pictures don’t look very pretty and I am hoping that the primer will cover up all of the plastic infill that I had to do for old holes left from parts removed.

                            There are loads of vids on YT for the metal tracks Joe. Quite straight forward especially with the larger Tiger tracks.

                            Luvin all the extras you have done detailing wise. Keep up the great work my friend
