    Hi Steve
Looks good. Very appropriate for the GB. Probably easier to adjust the ground rather than the figure so that was a good call. It's worked very well.

same figure - I didn't use the included base as it didn't feel right - I use a piece of slate as the basis.

Steve, when replacing the barrel make sure it's aligned with the bolt and cartridge chute. I remember the M16 being a fairly accurate rifle and shouldn't be shooting upwards. :smiling2: Part of the hazards of resin warping.

        Cheers,
        Richard

Of course mate - I've had loads of experience in toting this particular beastie and I've always been disappointed at scale depictions - why they always try to replicate that slim barrel (and the SLR's) in resin utterly eludes me! Thanks!

Most resin and white metal weapons warp or are crude. Many figure modelers have replaced or scratched new ones.

            Cheers,

Small update - in process of painting the Bergan and have done the initial painting of the face. Large scale makes it look terrible but honestly, it looks better 'au naturel'. Realise I need to adjust colour tones etc but it's edging towards a tired, hungry, grubby, under stress squaddy- hope so anyway. I realise the need to blend colour more but as this is my first attempt at this scale I'm 'reasonably' satisfied. Obs and criticisms welcome

                Hi Steve
Looking good. Blown up photos never really give a true impression.

Another update! Basic colour blocking done - much more detailing to do but this is progress so far! As always comments and criticisms welcome!

Coming along well Steve. Camo on clothing is never easy, but you’ve nailed it here.
