    Paul's P51D......1/48 bitsa

late to the party but i have a month and a half to get it done

years and years ago i bought a Revell 'Reno Racer' double kit on ebay..........did the Harvard which was quite nice as i remember but couldnt do the P51 as the decals were damaged............always intended on buying some aftermarket ones one day but as aircraft arnt my main interest ive never bothered.......a little while ago i was given a decal sheet for the Airfix P51, not too fond of bare metal aircraft but its time to give it a go and see what happens

and that was the Harvard form a very long time ago

and this is what im working with.............according to scalemate the kit was new tool back in the mid 70s

A quick hassle-free build can be really good for the soul. Nothing wrong with that.
