    Jon's T-62M in Afghanistan Trumpeter 1/35

Here's my contribution to the group build.
Trumpeter's 1/35 T-62 mod.1984 comes with the complete up-armoured package with rubberized side skirts and the passive frontal armour on the turret-Ilich's Eye-brows!
I'll add a couple of bits like Masterclub's OMsh tracks and fuel pipes etc. plus 2 or 3 figures later.
Idea is for a mountain ambush in winter somewhere in the Panjshir valley in 1986.
Spurs bits and making a start soon!

I'm getting a seat, too. The "ouverture" sounds inviting and it's a nice subject both for the tank and for the location.

                Hi Jon
That sounds good. I've used Voyager PE a couple of times and always found it good - nice and shiny too :tongue-out3:

Just a bit behind with this!
Impressed with the RMSh single link tracks from T-Rex Studios. No clean up,all track pin holes patent and nice detail. It says no glue required but a lot of the pins are fairly loose so just a spot of extra-thin does the trick.Click image for larger version
