Applied a coat of gloss varnish as was hoping to do some sort of pin wash , but no matter what I do and regardless of what the wash is nothing seems to work .
In the end I've just stuck the wheel shown in the photo on the the wing. Looks ok and will be better with the over use of CA painted out with some mud !

Flu jab and COVID booster first thing tomorrow, so hopefully I will continue the finish this tomorrow afternoon .

Back from having both jabs, turned up 45 mins early and was in one door and out of another within 10 mins
We normally complain about our local doctors but to day the staff were spot on.
Quick cup of tea then the final push .

Just had a good read of this, 453.
Nice stuff going on and just like I try and do when I join one, you have had a good thunk and go off on a tangent with your G.B. entry.

        Nice one.

Would have got some photos taken, but fell asleep after that cup of tea and didn't wake up until late afternoon.
Covered the base in a thin layer of PVA , put some 4 mm grass on and with a dollop of Vallejo mud set the plane in place . Photo tomorrow , promise .
