I thought that as well Pete. I remember those in the early (pre Hornby) Mark I having better detail. Mind you, when it’s buttoned up you can hardly see them anyway…..I think the lack of cockpit side details, and the lack of seatbelts are more obvious.

Yes, but the two-step rudder pedals were a very significant feature of the Spit, which I think was the first (or at least one of the first) to use them - by putting his feet on the higher step, the pilot could withstand higher G-force.

Yep, I know Pete. On my Mark 1 I think it was an Eduard upgrade, but you really won’t be able to see them at 1/48 in the depths under the I P. Seat belts are very noticeable if they are missing because they are very obvious on the seat.
This one is actually designed to have a pilot, so the pedals would be just about invisible and the lack of belts is excusable because they are moulded onto him. Never happy us modellers are we :tongue-out3:

If you must, you must! Be warned though, I returned my guild specific hair shirt many years ago and their chairman Eric “Myopic” Thrognottle and I have a history. The only way he can current sign cease and desist orders is by standing up, facing his desk backwards, and wearing rubber gloves……

                  Looking very nice Tim.
Once the fuselage is closed up you cant see the pedals, so good call on that and the harness looks very good.
How much is there in the swear jar?

Now Ian, we all know Mr. Marlow is a very nice person and wouldn't use such language during a build...........BUT, I bet there's at least 50 quid in it so far!!!............

Nothing as yet Ian. It’s going together rather better than expected. Probably be a few quid when I see the state of the wing to fuselage joints. They always annoy the hell out of me.

Cheers Allen. Glad I noticed the mistake before the glue completely hardened though……
As to language, yep, I use bad language a lot……however, I’ve worked out that most kits come from overseas and don’t understand a word of it. They just sit there inscrutably criticising you……
As to the swear jar, didn’t your mother ever say you shouldn’t bet. All you do is give your money away……like in this case LOL….

Absolutely right. With Bon they were a great act. After Bon, they were good, but turned into a stadium rock pastiche of their former selves. I saw them with BrIan Johnson at Donnington, and, to be honest, Slade (who were on the same bill) ate them alive. With Bob they were high energy personified…
THIS is real AC/DC……not for non fans though, it’s a bit long…..
