    Lee Drennen’s Academy 1/72 Spitfire Mk.XIVc

Mine arrived in the mail today. I’ll be hand painting it with Tamiya Paints and adding Techmod Decals. I chose the 316 Sqdn. RAF August 1943. Click image for larger version

          Interesting stuff Lee,
Don't think there are any other Academy kits entered into this GB,(. Apologies if I've missed one ! ),So it'll be good to see how they compare

Good choice. I haven't built an academy kit in a long time, but do remember it was a 1:72 hurricane, and it was a straightforward build.

Thanks Colin. I’ve built a few of these Academy’s and they never disappoint. The go together well and the fit is always perfect and lots of details.

                          Hi Lee
Academy is well known but, as you say, not many of their kits seem to be built. This looks nice and clean. No problems so far :thumb2:
