Great start andy , it looks like a beautifully detailed kit . Hope the dinner went down well ( im sure it did , and im also sure everyone thats read this thread will be salivating , dreaming about roast dinners now !)
Thank you for the personalized greeting at the beginning of your thread and I feel honored Sir. I see you are off to a better start than I am too! The parts look real cleanly molded by looking at the dashboard. I especially love the bar stool, disco light array, on the left and the smoke machine with the tank on top, on the right. Did you happen to get any bottles to put on the bar with the kit???...
I, like the others here, hope you had a wonderful dinner, but I am curious about a couple of things......Is the roast beef baked in tea or just in the oven by itself??? And what is this Yorkshire pudding all about??? Do you use the whole terrier or just selected parts to make it. It sounds rather gruesome to me and doesn't the SPCA in Devon, or on the whole Insel, have laws governing such activities against the poor helpless Yorkies???...They are really cute little thangs Andy!!!...

Sorry to go off track here..
.. Normal service Will be resumed tomorrow :thumb2:
Ok then Guys,
I've been cramming in some bench time between worky type stuff this week! ... A bit pic heavy, and obviously it's a WIP....
Loads of sub assemblies there,next..
... the base coat of Kakhi there,next..
... Some varnish on,and panel lining attempted...then....
.. some early wash stuff, and basic blocking of colours on other bits, and some decals added
That's more or less where it is at the moment.... apart from...
Our little Jap chap tested for fit.. gotta say,I think he's rather cool.
... There's the cockpit decal on... not too shabby at these early stages I think.
As always, thanks for looking in,and your comments... much appreciated :thumb2:
Cheers for now,
Andy
Looking mighty fine Andy. Pilot looks very detailed, is there a passenger for that rocking chair in the back too?
Thanks Andy...... The pilot is easily the best detailed 1/48 figure that I've had in my sticky little mitts :thumb2:, I've been scouring the net for a back seat passenger, but as yet not found one,and another of the same is just not going to happen!
