Well, I brush-painted the drop tank. Didn't come out too badly:

I could have done a better job if it didn't have those bay doors nearly touching the tank.
Also started on the topside decals:

I'm not sure if I like the yellow stripe as a decal - saves a bit of masking, but tricky to fit around the leading edge. This was a bit stressful so I'll ve the side decals for tomorrow.

Alright, this is as finished as it's going to get!
I did a bit of sponge chipping and gave the whole thing a good dose of Flory Dark Dirt wash.

I'll put up a 'finished' thread later.
