        Latest update.

Painting of the canopy framing continued:

I assembled the undercarriage and applied decals. The cowling has been given a first coat of Black/Blue:

The third coat of green has just been applied and which was followed by a fourth:

The engine was glued to the bulkhead and the whole plane was given a coat of Klear in readiness for decalling. The canopy has not been glued:

        That's all for now.

            Thanks Andy. :thumb2:

            Another little update.

Decalling finally gets underway and they have been going on rather nicely:

All decals have been applied now but I still have a bit of work to do:

That's all for now but my next report should be the final one.

              My final build report now.

The cowling, propeller, fuel tank, mast and pitot tube were glued in place. I applied a little weathering but I still need to apply a coat of varnish not just on the exterior but inside the cockpit, so I haven't fitted the canopy yet:

Varnish has been applied and I can now say that this build is finished:

Once again, my thanks to Andy The Smythe Meister for suggesting this GB.

That's one excellent looking Zero for sure,a cracking build to have followed ,
A big nod to you for the tip of masking the inside of the canopy to aid painting..... I'm another who's stashed that little nugget away!
