Poor Justine does seem to have to put up with a lot! What with having to spend all her spare time being your official chucker upperer and then having to wait at home while you're out carousing at all hours with that reprobate Idu and his Zulu buddies!

Talkin' of which, when's your next venture back into the world of construction? I bet Idu and his lads are fed up of hanging around in The Clacker with nothin' to do!

      Yo Dave.
I doubt she'll be a chucker with this, more a paddler, some time soon....

I have a few ideas kicking about for Idu and his mates. Very soon too, as I'm getting fed up picking up the tab from the 'Clacker'!

      On with the build.

      Cockpit canopy and blisters fixed.

Had me a bit of luck with the decals. I managed to find some suitable small black number decals in my decal bag.

Coming on very nicely. Looks really weird without the wing though, almost like the gondola off of an airshipโ€ฆโ€ฆ

There you go Barry. You might want to save up a bit though... lol.... Time to start spamming HKM or the likes.

              Sorry Ron.
This is looking very smart indeed.

                    Thanks everyone.
I've finally got around to taking some pickies of the finished aircraft.

Thanks to Dave (gern) for suggesting and running this G.B. and for all his invaluable help with this model and also thanks to you nice folks for all your encouraging posts along the way. All much appreciated. :thumb2:

Here's a few shots and the rest will be over in 'Completed' asap...

All brush painted using Vallejo Air acrylics. 'USAF' and 'RESCUE' free hand painted.

I've hardly weathered the model, just a bit of a wash here and there.....

I didn't realise just how big and chunky this aircraft is until I put it alongside my same scale,1/72 Lancaster.......

                      Greeting 570 .
Following a urgently called meeting the Committee have awarded you once again

Matron was at the time searching out for a new mode of transport , but returned in time to head the Committee.Needless to say she is now on the prowl !

Excellent Ron. Really colourful and big. Every time you post a completed build I've noticed a load of second hand airbrushes go up for sale on eBay - odd that

Very nice, Ron. Unusual colour scheme, but painted excellently.
