Papa 695s 1/72 ACE Salamander crash tender.

Just found this in the loft while putting the Christmas decks away, so I’m going to build it.

Unusual subject Ian. It looks a rather nice kit. I've not heard of ACE kits before. What exactly does "digital design" mean? :rolling:

Yes I know, I built there Stalwart some time ago, very fiddly but looks good when completed.

It is Tony, there's a little flash, but nothing to worry about.

It’s a Ukrainian manufacturer who makes limited-run kits of vehicles. Usually very well-detailed, but also often fiddly to build as a result.

My guess is they used CAD rather than traditional methods? But that’s an odd thing to mention in the 21st century, I would think.

Made a start on this one, like I said, there’s some very small pieces to this kit.

Typically ACE, built some of theirs before as they did some odd Russian stuff from WW 2. How are the instructions Ian ? Seem to remember some of mine were rather vague

Been working on the underside of this, so many tiny parts. But all done now.
