Been hunting for a victim for this. I must be doing it wrong. Having an idea then finding the kit is proving hard. Maybe I should try it the other way around.

I'm struggling to find a model. I'm sure I will as there is plenty of time but not having a stash means I'm looking for something to buy.

I've got months to do this so I'm sure something will turn up.

Luckily, I already have the players I need and hope I'm not too late to join in.

It will be a small diorama based on an iconic scene from a most excellent film.

            Thank you.

Slight change of angle from me. My carpet monster seems to have eaten my Young miniatures bust of Lucky Jack Aubrey. I know I’ve got him, but I don’t know where he is…..
I’ll therefore go for the back up option…..

He is Maximus Decimus Meridius, commander of the armies of the north, general of the felix legions and loyal servant to the true emperor Marcus Aurelius. Father to a murdered son and husband to a murdered wife. And he will be painted, in this life or the next…..

"Are You entertained?" I hear being called from the arena.

                Oh we will be.

Oi! I was going to use that quote during the paint (can’t call it a build, he’s only made from four parts). Never mind, there are plenty of others…..

Good idea….all he needs is a different hairstyle, new shirt and jacket, proper naval sword, epaulettes, gold braid…….and a new hat……simples!

Yep, he got it pretty much spot on to the film hasn’t he……only variable I can see is that he’s banded the vertical shoulder plates in brass…..they are just made from iron in the film.….no banding……

Ill just copy a film still as well as I’m able…. I’ll never get that degree of subtlety into him.

Of course not Since the group build ends on 31 May, as long as you start posting about your build before then (and preferably finish by then ), you can take part.

I take it Riko is long gone? I recognise the name as the UK Tamiya importer, but I don’t know much more than that
