Spot on advice from Tim Marlow, of course. One other thing to consider is that, where the crease points directly up to the light source then it's the very deepest part of the crease that reflects the light, like this:

Well, In between 'Legal stuff' today I had an attempt at shading the lilac,

trust me it's more pronounced in 'real' life...(the inside of the sleeve shows it best) but it'll do for now.

          Well guys,
Dad has carried out his 'final journey', and now the reality of 'normal life' begins to settle back into things..just one final thing to deal with 'the scattering of his ashes' in his home town of Scarborough...

So I managed to have some down time and made more progress with this build.. Got him assembled and he's literally finished, just a couple of things to deal with, so over the next couple of days I'll calling this build complete and he'll take up his rightful place in our living room...

              Sorry for your loss Chris.

The Mekon looks fabulous though…….now he needs a Dan Dare to keep him under control……

That is looking properly good. No trace of a repair that I can see, too.

I've just caught up with this. It's great to see!

I used to get the Eagle comic as a kid. I think my parents considered it 'serious', at least for a comic and certainly compared to something like The Beano

The Mekon is coming along nicely, I'm nervous about what superweapon he'll come up with next in his quest to conquer the universe.

Absolutely superb - I love the fact you've captured Matron's Great Aunt to a 'T', and from a Daguerrotype! Superb stuff indeed!
