I've been working on this off and on - not taking any pictures - but the internal detail can't be seen anyway

Fuselage just closed up - seams need a little seeing to. Fit is very good, the only problem is removing tiny pieces from the sprues. Engine / firewall just dry fotted

A little more work...................... The engine cowling is a nasty little 5 piece assembly, which needed a smear of iller on the most visable loint on the top

The cowling is a tight fit over the engine, I had to grind off parts of the rocker covers to get it to fit. I had the first loss to the carpet monster - the exhaust stub pinged off whilst dry fitting the cowling. It's only an angled tube, so replacement isn't a problem,

Nice one Dave. Looking good. I've lost a tiny piece of PE on my Yak too.

Any update on this Dave, or are the locos taking precedent?

It's been sitting in my stash for a couple of years, and the GB seems to be the ideal time to blow the dust off it & find my bottle of Contacta.
I'll be putting up the usual sprue, instructions etc tomorrow, I hope

                Hi Dave

Just wondering if you ever got this finished? I know you've been doing a lot with your 3d printer recently.

I only ask because I'm considering getting one and wondered what you thought of it.

                  Andrew,
sadly, I haven't touched this, my 3D printer has been my main interest, but ill - health has limited all my modelmaking activities, which I'm afraid will be an ongoing problem

Very sorry to hear that Dave.

Whilst you didn't finish it, is it a kit you'd recommend? I now you had problems with engine and the cowling?
