I heard that dam parrot has a full time job at the "Clacker".... redecorating the hand railing. Every time he lands on one he " redecorates" it!.....mind where you put yer hands, they might come up a bit smelly! I'm in 570....looks like the chucker we all know and love will be out of work temporarily!

Cracking start with the 'Crack'. Good stuff chaps......

        I've made a start on 'Big 'E'
I'll be painting her in later campaign colours.
        Brush painted using Vallejo Air.

There is choice. Hanger deck shutters up or down. Due to the impending rough seas, mine are down. Also, it saves me having to paint the interior.

She received quite a battering by the enemy during her time in the Pacific, so once the initial painting is complete, I'll try and make her look a tired, but still fighting lady.

        Cheers.

Battoned down would be correct procedure for heavy seas 570.....On my last cruise in the Med, aboard USS Intrepid we were in the heavies and still shipped over 2 feet of water onto the hangar deck!

Definitely not something I could do, but I've seen Ron do water before

Thanks to Rick and Steve for your input.

Can't remember how to do big seas. :upside:

Image removed........It's inclusion didn't rest easy with me.

              Cheers.

That is my lot in life as well 570.....I'll do something very successfully and 3 days later totally forget how I did it. I have started making "build" notes of complicated steps to remember incase I do another in the future.....instruction sheets for this sort of thing seem to be lacking....for some reason or other!

Rick. I gave up writing notes sometime ago. I could never remember just where I left them!

I spent a fair time today looking for my glasses. I eventually find them - Hooked in the sweater collar I had on!

I have the same problem. It's one of the benefits of blogging a project on this forum - you've got your notes right here!
Great start by the way, Ron, and I DO like that rugged weather model.
                      Looking forward to the result.

Glad you like the transporter Neil.

I was still a bit 'Twitchy' about it's inclusion though.

Surely if it's your thread there's no problem Ron?

Maybe not Neil, but it is kind'a irrelevant to the thread though.....I'll let admin. decide.

I've deleted the photo. I don't want the slightest of issues. Imaginary or otherwise.

Sorry the last few members posts are now a bit disjointed as a result of the deletion and subsequent alteration of the text in my own posts.
