Hi Geoff,
Apologies,I seem to have missed the last few updates :flushed:,
That's come along a treat, the colours look to have gone down very smoothly indeed, and the decals finish off the look superbly:thumb2:.
Nice repair job on the fuel tank recesses too!
All in all it's a cracking build mateComment

No apologies needed, it’s almost a full time job trying to keep up to date with all the build threads

Well gentlemen I’ve pleased to say I am managing to squeeze this build over the finish line before the end of the GB :smiling3:.
The weathering has been done using mostly Abteilung 502 oils and AK washes.
The few reference pics I’ve seen suggest these aircraft were pretty grubby so I’ve tried to reflect that.
I’m a bit annoyed with myself as I had put a coat of aluminium down in certain key areas which I intended to try the hairspray technique on to recreate chipping. Unfortunately I forgot to add the hairspray :flushed: before the camo was added so had to revert
to sponge chipping which hasn’t come out very well.
It’s had a coat of Vallejo Matt varnish and the final small bits and bobs added.
Forgive the sherbet dab tin, after knocking off the antenna masts off countless times I wanted to make sure I protected them.
Here are a few pictures, I will post some better completed pictures in the appropriate place later.
Thanks for looking :thumb2:
