Nice progress Lee. I bet being in one was unpleasant but as as unpleasant as when that ramp dropped.

Those joins don't look good Lee, but I can't see anything that you can't solve with some filler and elbow grease! Go on! You know you want to!

Airfix has really interesting BrailleScale models. What always confuses me though is what scale I'm actually getting. Sometimes it says 1/72 on the outside but 1/76 is inside etc... (Yes, there is a difference! :tongue-out3: ) - Confusing!
Shouldn't we be able to sue them for misleading sales data or summat?

Yeah might try some Super glue and Baking soda or Tamiya extra thin glue and melt them together and sand after it dries. Thanks for the pep talk

Well I also worked on this a little bit this morning trying to get rid of the seams and the fit issues. The base that comes with the Pegasus LCVP I’m going to use with this so for some inspiration to push on thought I would paint some “White Caps” on it. I also cut the middle out so the Airfix Higgins would fit right. “Good by Seams”. Hope this is Convincing enough. Click image for larger version

Nice that it fits on the base, even if you did have to cut away a bit of it. TBH I had not really expected it to be that simple

Me neither Jakko just boost the mojo to push on with this build. I think the Pegasus is kinda out of scale they are known for having a little larger scale stuff in 1/72 that I’ve seen and read on reviews. Or maybe it’s a Different Landing Craft for Bigger stuff Click image for larger version

I’m also going to add some of the Pegasus Figures to the Landing Craft. Here’s one of them this one is the Coxswain. I re-located his Left arm so he can hold the steering wheel. I’ll tiddy him up when I’m ready to paint him like re-sculpturing his arm. Going to add the other 3 crew men if I can pull it off. That’s going to it for today. Click image for larger version

The Airfix one definitely looks more finely detailed.

Yes it is and not bad details either. I measured the Airfix and is definitely closer 1/72 scale it wasn’t off by much just a little on overall length.

After some very Early Farm chores here’s some updates. I’ve added the Winch, Bilge Pump, Stowage Racks, Storage compartments, Bottom and the top Deck. I might detail the Winch with a cable. Click image for larger version

Thanks A.J. So far it is going well. I have to add some more details and hope to get it done.
