Been away in Andalusia with the outlaws for a fortnight and been unable to access the forum because the two-part verification code refused to appear (constantly); however I've made some progress on the bust and base. It's about 90% finished and, as always, I can see areas for improvement - don't we all! I had a nightmare because in my rush to get something together prior to leaving I managed to get CA on the face of the base :sad-face:. Arrived back at two o'clock this morning , and in the need to get some mental cleansing retired to the cave on awakening and found a tiny amount of debonder in a container I thought had dried up. Ordering more ASP but in the meantime it's partially cleaned up. This is progress so far - all paints are Humbrol applied avec la stick 'airy! C&C welcome.

Denison is excellent. After cheat painting some small ones recently it’s nice to see a properly executed paint job :thumb2:

Plus one more on the Denison. It hit me straight away-possibly the best I've seen

That's looking great Steve. Figures are perhaps the hardest part of the hobby but you've cracked it.

Loving that - especially the 'leather' chinstrap - that looks superb.

Can I add my 'WOW' to this Steve. The textures are superb and he looks so lifelike.
A brilliant tribute to the 'Para's' through the ages.
Even if you are all mad as a box of frogs - jumping out of a perfectly serviceable flying machine. (I may have said that before). :tears-of-joy:
