Not bad for a 1/72 lol

I think half of those might be tyres.... :tears-of-joy:
I find these giant Russian trucks incredibly attractive. However, I have a "zero tolerance for vinyl tracks and wheels" strategy (I've had far too many bad experiences with them!) and so it would be very, very expensive to build such trucks. The resin spare tires usually cost a lot more than the whole kit.

Long story short, I'm looking forward to admiring your build.

I've been browsing possible models for this, currenly i'm thinking of one of these but as we have a lot of time, I might find more
as I keep looking around for potential subjects to do. I am quite excited about this GB.

I'm digging the first two. No one does an ugly truck like the Russians :tears-of-joy:

Hey Lee, Great idea for a GB and the time frame is perfect too. I have a kit I want to build, but it's not really a rocket or a missile. It's one of these,

It had a pulse jet motor and had to be launched by a catapult to achieve the speed needed get the pulse motor operating for flight. It was sub-sonic, with a speed around 450 MPH. It's your call and that's why I wanted ask first...

I'm hoping to find a Napoleonic Royal Artillery gunner with a Congreave Rocket system - will this comply?

Yeah but the temptation seems to always rules out. I’ve done it may times.

I hate when that happens and you really want the Resin but you say to yourself are you crazy it’s more than the model price.

Dang Steve those look awesome! Don’t break the bank or get in trouble with the wife on my account Lol. I’m glad you are excited about this GB. I know it’s a wide target for Subjects but the bigger the target the more than likely you will hit it. Take your time picking your victim.

Your safe! I always thought these were kinda considered a “Rocket” I have something like that in mind too but launched from a German Aircraft. So I’m giving you a big fat YES. I thought the time frame was good too everyone will be done with the current GBs and if they not too exhaust they might join in and have something to do at the start of winter.

P.S. just done a quick research on it the V1 was a Cruise Missle so was the V-2 that’s the take away I got from Wikipedia. So go for it.

I've still got the Rapier unit from the Firing Line which I never got round to doing for the Falklands build.Perhaps I could pull my finger out for this GB.

Thanks Lee and you can add my name to the list. I have wanted to build this kit, but not with all the the ramps on it. It almost a meter long and too big to display anywhere in my apartment...

Yes I can just waiting to make sure you want me too. That’s a pretty a pretty good size model. I’m starting to lean more to the small scale also because I’m running low on space.
