Yeah that battery does look rather large, but it won't be seen, so I won't be cutting and carving, in fact I was tempted just leave it out.Strength isn't about what you can do, rather it's about overcoming what you thought you couldn't do.Comment

Nudge nudge wink wink
Maybe they wanted to add some weight over the front wheels for more traction .Strength isn't about what you can do, rather it's about overcoming what you thought you couldn't do.Comment

A little more progress.
The interior is pretty much done now.
As the kit did not include seatbelts I have attempted to replicate them using masking tape.
Photo deleted
Edit: Looking at the photo I decided that my attempt at seatbelts actually looked worse than no seatbelts. So I removed the photo, and, if I manage to do something a little more acceptable, I'll post again, otherwise it will be as received.

I have been cutting out the wheel arches for the flares.
Here it is prior to the last arch being cut, to show the amount of material that had to be removed.
However, now that that is done, it is time to prep for painting.
I might add that this kit leaves much to be desired, regarding fit, flash, mould marks and destructions, not insurmountable, but just a bit disappointing.
