Amazing looking Subaru. With a boxer engine - an awesome machine that has been well modelled there Stefan.

Quick update.
Fiddly painting and decaling done. Dash finished, seats and steering wheel rim painted to try and replicate alcantara finish. Despite my best intentions ended up using decal seatbelts which are just about acceptable. All light buckets chromed in readiness for lenses. My "favourite" bit - clear windows glued in.
Hopefully finish tomorrow.

Well I didn't finish the exterior today, didn't realise there's another 12 decals to apply mainly to the "glass". By the way does anyone know if microset or sol will have an adverse effect on the clear plastic?
Interior and underbody are finished. Cheated on the seatbelts by adding ribbon to the decals - not perfect but quite effective and will look good when all buttoned up. Done some very light washes and weathering.

That is looking superb! Well done indeed. Who was the driver of that one? Richard Burns popped in my head but that might be the wrong year.Comment

Strength isn't about what you can do, rather it's about overcoming what you thought you couldn't do.Comment

All done and dusted. Couldn't be bothered to flat and polish the blemishes as the colourful decals draw the eye (if not the camera) away.
Tamiya supply skid panels and protective shields for the vulnerable mechanicals on the underbody and suggest they be painted various shades of black and silvers, however, I just left them translucent clear because I didn't want to hide the painting work. These panels and the auxiliary light pod are attached with a little blue tack.
Thanks one and all for the comments and following along.
Images over in the relevant completed section.
Many thanks to Mr. Bowcat for organising and running this group build, my first and definitely not my last.
