Thank you gentlemen. Sometimes, lacking sponsors, if a car looked this good & ran well you could get free stuff or discounts if you put their decals on the car as photographers were likely to take pictures of it and the suppliers would get public looks cheap.

Paul, Looking really good I'm not a big fan of American motors but there were one or two that looked good and this is one of them.

Thanks guys. No box, no instructions, shell mostly done, running gear mostly done, finishing up as background for 57.

A real "barn find", 'Desperado' found in the same cabinet as the 57, in a box marked 1/25 tires containing said tires & several damaged & incomplete old models including a Plymouth 'Police Cruiser', Austin? bodied gasser & a small block powered 'Luv Truck' street machine. Investigation continues into missing parts.

Looks like the 'Luv Truck' is likely the only one I have most parts for.

Mucking about making little moves while waiting for 1/25 human. Need to put red balls in injector horns & rag into 57 intake along with more weatherng.

We certainly tried with 402 (283 4 square), 327, 350, & 302cu. in. Chevy small blocks before going to the 427s.
