Build is now underway. These two wheelie things are definitely paint as you go models. One strange thing I’ve already found, there is a chromed sprue but the first two parts off it aren’t chrome on the model and have to be painted? Here’s the start….

A tad late my friend, but with my new glasses, I should be able to see all your magic just fine...Any particular reason you have the putty on standby so early in the build??? Just wondering...

Day shifts done so a bit more work completed. Quite a bit of detail painting to do but finally some progress

Looks excellent and very neat building/painting.
Are the timing belts loose rubbery items or painted moulded plastic?

Cheers Andy, all this detail and you can hardly see it when the fairing goes on

All new to me Bob but an interesting challenge, next up is to screw it into the frame

Ducati engines are a bit different all round I think, what with their desmodromic valve system that hardly anyone else bothers with.

Interesting. The only Ducati I've built is the Superleggera V4, but that had a fairly standard looking engine.
