Thank you for the kind remarks, I always favoured a highly modified Mitsubishi FTO, the only one I could keep on the tarmac when I used to game.Comment

Great job Stefan. There is some tricky contours to follow on some of those decals. Looks amazing.SteveComment

I'm not a huge fan of their decals either...... Certainly in the planes and tank I have done, far too thick!
Let's hope the 2k clearcoat can help hide the "irregularities".Comment

They are ridiculously thick..... As people far more experienced than me can testify..... Every forum I have been on has repeated complaints about them.Comment

Well everything that needed to be white/decaled and/ or gloss has been done. The 2k clear has helped to lessen the decal disasters thankfully.
Off into the airing cupboard, after off gassing the solvents overnight, for 11 days to fully cure whilst in hopefully sunnier and drier climes.
Probably the last post for a while but will try to follow the builds if the hotel WiFi is good enough.Comment

Got back from holiday a week ago to some horrendous news, next door neighbour suddenly passed away and 2 hours later was told my god daughter had been found dead in her flat in Switzerland, wish I hadn't come home.
Anyway after sorting out various things decided to do a bit of modelling to take my mind off things for a while.
Prepped, primed and painted various suspension, brake and driveline parts and assembled most of the front end. Used kitchen foil to represent the heat shield on the underfloor and tried, for the first time, to heat stain the exhaust pipe - not 100% happy with it but it'll do.
