I'll be building this for the GB. I'm going to attempt rigging. Never done it before but I'll give it a go.

Looking forward to starting in the New Year.

I saw someone on YouTube using guitar wire for the rigging, it looked reasonably straightforward

I'd also like to join in with a Swordfish if I may.

Looks a bit more complicated than I'd hoped for but I'm sure I'll figure it out :smiling3:

I'm hoping so. I got the photo etch pack too for some added fun.

Watched a bit of a tutorial on it by Phil Flory and thought I'd give it a go.... seemed to be quite a "user friendly" method, and very inexpensive if i can't get it to work .

This is another cracking little 'new' Airfix kit, and there are a tonne of detail sets available - I think I used several different lots, engine, interior, lights, on my Shuttleworth example - if you really want to go to town. Not that any of that any of that is necessary
There's also an etch steel rigging kit from SBS, which I wish had come sooner so I could have used it. I did use the SBS set for my Dragon Rapide, so I can recommend them
When thing I did manage to get wrong was mounting the wheels upside-down, as they're 'handed' for flight or ground

Yes its an easy method andy , you have to be careful though as it sticks as soon as it hits the CA . You can cut it slightly short and stretch it to glue in position , it ensures a tight line . Bait elastic for tying fishing rigs also works in the same way as this ( its probably the same stuff) . Ive used both and found it easy enough to do .

I’m in. Father Christmas was rather good to me, leaving this offering under the tree for me.
