It is so cool watching this come together, Guillow's kits were made right next door in Massachusetts, so every hobby store around here carried them. Every summer vacation from school we kids in the neighborhood would build one of these kits and have dogfights to the death! My favorite was the Fw-190 (in the same series as your Spitfire). I painted it with Pactra Authentic colors in brown and green camo that was in no way authentic, but it looked cool as heck! It also added so much extra weight that the flights were short and the landings hard ? But it was immense fun that kept us occupied for quite a while.😀 3👍 1Comment
