Great work Tony. The detail on those printed figures is quite remarkable given the scale.

Got the wing top and bottom glued and the cockpit together. The seat has had the Eduard super fabric seat belts added . The nav lights on the wing were just moulded solid so they were cut out and pieces of clear sprue glued in after a hole was drilled and painted to simulate the bulbs . Click image for larger version

Very impressive Tony, well done on the lights, that's great scratchery.

Got the fuselage together and wings on now, its starting to look like a hurricane . Strangely Airfix dont supply a gunsight of any kind , so an early reflector gunsight ( round lens ) will have to be scratched and fitted before I get the windscreen on . Ive also been squinting through the magnifying lamp and got the figures started . Theyve had a basic first coat of colour , lots more tiny details to paint and shading washes etc to come . Good work on the lights Tony. The general fit looks half decent as well.

The figures are now done after a bit more detail painting , washing and drybrushing .
I scratched a gunsight and attached it then masked up the windscreen and fitted that. After masking the cockpit opening the airframe got a coat of Halfords grey primer. Next up some colour . Click image for larger version

Wow, that was an enjoyable catch up. Some cracking work going on, love the figures, they will really add something to the finished product.
