    Paul's HMS Devonshire.......Airfix.....1/600

    So this was new tool in 1963 i didnt realise it was that old til i just checked.....i thought it was late 60s/early 70s

    Will also be an out of my comfort zone build for me cos i dont do many floaty boaty things

      These old 1/600 kits are pretty basic but with care can build up nicely. I wish you luck.

                      Oh and adding a date to a model is an old habit lol

                        You've done well to get the hull together. Mind you it had to be otherwise the rest just wouldn't fit so 2 hours well spent.

                          Nothing worse than warped bit, (Oo-er Missus!).

                            Good idea on the additional braces. Nothing worse than the demon crack appearing in the join when the painting is completed.

                              Finally some progress
                              ive been nursing cold all week so feel grotty
                              its took me this long just get the filling done snd sanded....and now ive primered i can see something else to fill
                              Hopefully things will speed up now the hulls done
