Airfix Vintage GB - HMS Fearless, with very small Heli's... 1:600 scale

So My entry for this GB will be the above, a nice vintage Airfix HMS Fearless, (the last steam powered ship in the UK Navy).
Looking forward to this build. Still not sure if I will do a small seascape diorama, it really depends how well my other water based "test" diorama does, with my SBS troops and kayak build, (see separate thread).
Just looking at the sprues, and the little Heli's are tiny! Lol...
I understand my Fearless kit is from 1968 tooling, although it has a 1994 box.
    Box art, etc....

I will follow along with this. HMS Fearless is the only ship I have ever built and that was a long time ago while I was at school. I'm looking forward to watching this come together.

I did build this kit when I was a kid, must have been about 10 I reckon, but I used to just throw them together and splodge a bit of paint on with not much effort or thought, and then spend hours playing with them in the bath.... Lol.... 8-)
So hopefully will do this one a bit better....

I don't think there are any rules in this GB to say you can't play with the model in the bath afterwards.

Following along. My cousin built this - badly - when we were kids. I seem to remember he glued some big bits together without putting some internals in first. I guess his was one of the first iterations of instructions that weren't in long hand....

Another old 1/600 scale ship being built for this GB. Should be fun.

I've never built a ship, so yes, it will be good to watch this one come off the blocks.

Nothing to tell really; part of the Aden shenanigans that's all.

I saw a PE set for this very model the other day...Might have been scalemates.
I also built this many MANY years ago. It was not pretty lol.
