    Paint on now and the rudder has been painted in the blue yellow red , romanian colours . Its currently just had a first coat of klear , another thin coat going on later then tomorrow it should be ready for decals .Click image for larger version

      Now that's interesting. I had read, that the elliptical wing of the Spitfire, was ermm sort of borrowed from the Germans by a chap who had worked in Germany, but was now employed by Supermarine.
      Anyway, model wise, looking great.

        Yes from the plan view the shape could be a spitfire , except of course for those huge tailplanes !

          Decals on , undercarriage fitted and final bits added ( pitot , aerial ,nav lights painted on and exhausts painted ) it’s now had a final Matt coat and I’m calling it done . The decals were a bit off register ( the white surround to the king michaels cross ) and the yellow carrier film is visible on the numbers but it’s not too noticeable. It’s been a lightning quick build by my standards but I’ve enjoyed it and it’s not something you see every day .
