Panzer Kampfwagen II Ausf. G Completed

Here is my first crack at tank building, well any type of armour. I'm pleased with the way it turned out and it gave me the chance to put into practice some of the techniques I have read about.

It's the Tamiya kit painted in Tamiya acrylics, I used Klear before I laid the decals down and the weathering is raw umber oil wash, orange filter and Mig pigments.

    Hope you like it.

Jason that is very nicely done , I love the colour scheme showing the original colour of the tank that's very authentic

I'm going to use the figures when I do mine and do a little dio

Wow!! If this is your first attempt, the next one will be...ufff, difficult to imagine

The general colour is magnificent as the subtle chipping effect.

The wash and thr filter give a very nice touch at the model.

And the pigments on the tracks are genial.

Great build Jason, I really like it

That's a great job Jason! Even more impressive with it being your first one!

I'm glad you put your tracks on the right way round - I mixed mine up!

              Cheers

Thanks for your kind comments! I'm pleased you like it. I can't claim all of the credit though. Some of that should go to the forum and all of you guys here. Without all of your excellent, informative posts and threads I wouldn't have had a clue how to get these results.

Anyway this one has served its purpose and now I can get on with my Command Car build, in the knowledge that I probably won't make a pigs ear of it

                        Thanks
