    Syrian T-55 Yom Kippur 1973

    Another build completed.

To the people that followed in the Under Construction section, a big thank you for the kind words, suggestions and encouragement.

Final touches on the wheels and tracks, and here are the final pics...

Gonna take a break from armored vehicles ... next project will be an aircraft.

Till then, happy modelling people ...

Brilliant! Paint and weathering is spot on and the sagging tracks add a final touch of realism

Ryan this is excellent you have proved that it is not always necessary to buy expensive all singing all dancing kits.

Top class work there Ryan! Everything is just right without being overdone, the chipping is definitely my favorite.

The only thing I'd have added is some sooty staining around the exhausts.

                Cheers

Thank you everyone for the kind words.

And yes, steve scan...nowadays some kits are really overpriced...n with some effort, we can actually make nice finishing out of old kits. though i did add aftermarket track on this t55...but then again, its not Fruilmodel or those expensive metal tracks...its a cheap Trumpeter's plastic track. i have asked my local supplier to bring in another 55 and 54...to make a Czech and Afghan version

patrick .. hmmm ... good idea..its not too late to add it. i will work on it.
