        This is the same at Eden Camp, a former Italian then German POW camp in North Yorkshire, we had a caravan near there and so me and my lad visited it many times.

            Have to say, I like that a lot! Dry brushing seems to have fallen out of favour in many forums, but this shows what's possible with skill & a subtle touch

              Thank you all so much, I don't know if it would pay for me to start up with an AB at this point, I think I would probably only use it for base coating or something. Stuck in my ways I'm afraid, I will always finish them with a good brushing any way...............Cheers....Jim

                    How did I miss this one!? This is one of my favorite vehicles and it really reminds me of my modeling youth.


                    I agree on the dry brushing technique. Shepard Paine was the master at it, and this model reminds me of his work.
