That is a trade secret Ron...oh, okay seen as its you. It is just PVA and salt, dollop the PVA on and then just pour on the salt, it soaks right into the PVA and forms a nice hard coating. Only issue is that you need to leave to fully dry out as the salt draws the water out of the PVA and can weep, leaving clear patches of salty water. Once fully dry just seal with a matt varnish.
