    T62A......Tamiya 1/35.....finished for now

    Im calling this done.....for time being

    Whole plan for this was to play about with oils etc

    In the end im not too happy how the oils worked but its got an overall grubbiness

    I was going to mist on some dirt but where i get my vallejo paint from hasnt got any suitable light brown in and i cant get to hobbycraft for a bit

    But plan is to return later on and have a dabble.....i just need a break from it

    Soviet tanks come with a log to use as an tool to get themselves unstuck......the one in the kit was dreadful but i had a bit of hazel (i had a go at wicker weaving last year) which happened to be same diameter and obviously looks more log like so i roped it on

    Paul, that is a cracking result. I agree natural wood always looks better than the plastic offerings.
